So…here I am…Firefox 1.0 Preview Release up and running…another smooth transaction from my previous version (0.92). Now I just need to get my hands on a new skin (as Qute 2.1.2 isn’t compatible with 1.0 (yet)) :-)
First thing that catches the eye: popup-blocker-status bar? That strangely reminds me of the one in the SP2 IE…/hits right mouse button -> don’t show… ;-)
Update: Noia 2.0 Lite (2.75) it is for now then…I hope Arvid Axelsson will release the new Qute version for 1.0 PR+ soonish though…

Microsoft is about to release it’s Virtual Server.
I guess I’ll try it (evaluation kit available here )…although I guess Virtual PC is still the premium choice for all home-/soho-users…after all: who has got a Windows 2003 Server (or similiar) running at home ;-)
Not bad…although the match was really bad. After being down 0-1, and 1-2 we came back to really shoot them out of the place (the score could have been 8-4 easily in the end)…

So, I gave them a whirl yesterday and boy are those shoes sweet. With the Traxion system they’re real easy on your feet (minimal stud pressure). I gotta say: thumbs up! The first time in over a year that my ankles aren’t hurting after a training (I guess I should have invested in new shoes earlier :-) )…
As you may know I’m running an leisure time online portal ( WikiFun.de ) with a mate of mine.
After getting the site up and running we’re in urgent need of a logo for the site, because we won’t get the site truely off the ground without a little promotion, hence we need a representative logo which will be used both on the site as well as on “merchandising” articles (we want to hand out t-shirts and stuff).

They’re playing a league above us, but still no reason to go down like that…on another note: that way we can totally focus on the league play now, which isn’t bad at all as we intend to run for the championship this year!
On a side note: despite the promise to start the players who didn’t play last sunday I only played the last 15 minutes of the match… :-( [Strike 1]

Not bad…on the downside the match wasn’t as good as the result may suggest…and I didn’t play yet again…hmm…let’s see what happens wednesday (cup match)…
…why did I stay up till 5 am this morning…Well, I thought it was a good idea to add a little Configuration Management System, namely MamboServer, to the site I’m currently working on. So I thought that it would be no problem to move the Gallery to a subfolder (it was sitting right in the root of the domain)…big mistake. It’s indeed nearly impossible to move a gallery once installed in a directory or maybe it’s just me…but I don’t think so.
So after a short night’s sleep I got up at 10am and after drinking loads of coffee and coke I’m well awake, but not quite feeling good as I’ve been working on the Uni Project all day (actually I’m still sitting here at the Fraunhofer Institute atm). Now it’s about time to go home…then maybe do a little editing of the site, yet again…and then it’s time to relax and hopefully get some rest on the couch :-)
Ergo: Moving stuff in the middle of the night isn’t a good idea, even though it might look to be one right then ;-)
