(NFL) Steelers 27-41 Patriots

The AFC Championship seems to be already decided at half-time?! Patriots 24-3 Steelers

I guess there’s no way that Pittsburgh will come back from 3 TDs down…which gives me the chance to get some sleep (1:56am here)…

Update: So Pittsburgh came back a little after all, but they weren’t able to come back for good.

So, congrats to the Pats – AFC Champions 2004.

Superbowl time in 2 weeks, Feb. 6th 2005 – Jacksonville: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New England Patriots

  1. I sure hope you’re right, Ingo. Coming back from a 3 TD deficit is not unheard of for Pit…

  2. I firmly believe this game came down to experience. Alot of fuss has been made over Ben Roethlisberger and his charmed season but when push comes to shove, he was still a rookie with no big game experience. He also played at University of Miami and so I would have to say this was probably the coldest game he ever has played in in his career. New England, on the other hand, has no weakness. They are robotic. They don’t make mistakes of any kind. Tom Brady is an artist when it comes to managing a game. This is also why I believe Philly doesn’t stand a chance in the Super Bowl.

  3. Yeah, I guess all in all the Pats are really like robots. After seeing the first half and the big plays Brady made (60yards TD-pass, duration of play 0:09 after Betis’ missed 4th down) I think it’s really going to be tough to beat them. But hey, it’s been a long season and it’s been a long time since the Eagles had their last chance to win it all…maybe it’s time to “reverse the curse”?! Clearly the Eagles are the underdogs and that’s why I’ll root for them – and even if they don’t win it, I hope for a close match and may the best team win!

  4. Hey cool — the Superbowl is going to be held on my birthday! Go Pats! (Sorry to see Pburgh didn’t make it. Boo hoo.)
